Rother Valley Croquet Club, Duncton

Twenty-five members and their guests had a most enjoyable afternoon of croquet and tea. For the third time of organising this event the sun shone at Duncton. Some of our members are becoming quite expert at the game but our beginners enjoyed the occasion just as much. Unfortunately for some, we had organised the visit for the same date, as one of the Goodwood Race Meetings, which meant the traffic from Chichester to Duncton was extremely busy, resulting in some members arriving late.
