Thirty-five Outing. Wednesday 9th July 2.30pm. Boat Tour of Chichester Harbour
Twenty-two members and their wives/guests braved the elements and went on the guided cruise around Chichester Harbour. It had been hoped that the weather for our second trip around the harbour (we went about five years ago) would have been kinder to us but it was not to be!
Prior to embarking the boat about half the party had enjoyed a meal in the nearby Ship Inn and the rain had actually stopped before we set sail.
In true British (RCEA) fashion we made the best of it and enjoyed the day. It is to be hoped that should another trip be arranged at some time in the future it will be third time lucky (with the weather)!
